Early bird special

Daylight savings has officially turned Eric and I into that couple that lives in a retirement community and strives to make it to the dining hall at 4:30 every evening for the early bird special. It gets dark here at 4:30. Pitch dark. Therefore, my body is telling me that I need to eat dinner. Tonight we were finished eating at 5:05. What?

What's next...

I hate daylight savings.

I was just telling Kc that I hate daylights saving too. He was like Molly it comes every year! But this year it seems worse. I went out at 3:30 to bike to Old Navy and by the time I left Old Navy it was super dark and cold, so I biked home in shorts and a shirt with a grocery bag for dinner and an old navy bag in the dark. BOO.

Eric, since when do you wear red pants? And Jos, I love the navy sweater vest and polka dot bathing suit! Hysterical. I hate daylight savings too. What's the purpose anyway?

I was just reminding Rod about how dark it is there at 4PM during this time of year. We get a little extra daylight here than WI, thank goodness. By the way, the purpose was for the farmers! They needed to get up early to work, they needed more light in the morning than in the evening. They are trying to pass something in congress to eventually do away with it. I hope that happens.

AHHH come on girls!!!. . . It is a "cozy time". Kids are in,,, playing at your feet. Dinner is over earlier,,, Sr. Time. Earlier bed time for the kids, you wish. Haven't I painted a lovely reason for daylight to be saved!?!?!

What time do you go to bed? Are you having another meal at 9?
