What the?? I have to put this on my blog. Is that for real? I guess you just wash them? I don't even know what to say.

What are you talking about?! Is there an underground I don't know about? I don't want to know about it...except maybe to make fun of them at parties. Sometimes being retro isn't that cool. This is one of them.

That is probably the weirdest thing ever. How did you find these???

Oh yeah, this is real. I don't think they're from her, but that super-huge blog "soule mama" and the author of two books (which I own - very good) is a staunch believer in natural products and makes her own pads, washes them with her baby's cloth diapers every day, and swears she's healthier for it.

Frankly, I used pads back in the eighties when I had my period for the first time and thought they were the most disgusting thing on the planet, never to be used again. But washing mine out at the end of a long day? God assist technology and modern developments for a reason. One of which is disposable fem hygiene.
