12:11am

I hear noise outside my room. I opened the door thinking one of the kids was out there but I also wanted to check the thermostat because it was cold in our room. Diane was standing right there and scared me half to death. But regardless of that, I notice I am standing in wetness. I turn on the light and see a few little puddles in a row, leading to Ethan's room. I check on him. He's in his bed, his pants are pulled down around his knees with his underwear is still on. It's wet. What the? I pull Ethan out of bed to change his clothes. The kid is a dEEEEEEEEEp sleeper. He's falling back to sleep as Diane and I change his clothes. We continue to search for clues to tell us what happened to the hallway carpet. Apparently, Ethan must have been sleep walking or just highly confused because he left his room to go pee but mistook the basket full of CLEAN clothes as the toilet. Nice.

To my defense, I too was checking the thermostat. I wasn't just lurking around in the dark. . . and Josie scared me more, because I am old. . . I am never going down the hall again, no matter what!!!!!!!!!!!

Did Diane freak about her carpet? Some kid did that at my house during a primary presidency meeting, and it's still funky in the hall. Where is zerorez when you need them?
