Football season. It's Eric's favorite. Luckily, it's one of the shortest seasons played by professionals. If he was a baseball fan I think I might kill myself. Don't get me wrong, I like to watch football, just not nearly as much as Eric does, and today marks the first day of a full day of football. Not being able to see EVERY Packer game was getting to him, so what does he do?....convinces (I don't know how) his parents that they should switch to DirectTV so that he can order NFL Ticket. Great. Now instead of the regular broadcast games, which is usually around 5 games every Sunday, he will have EVERY game played that day available to him. And a DVR in case he can't watch seven at the same time...and this is just the NFL! I haven't even started about College football, so let me begin. I am the ONLY person in my entire family, extended family, and in-law family who cheers for the
.
That means I have 2 parents, a MIL, a FIL, 5 BIL's, a SIL, 4 sisters, 2 grandparents, 4 aunts, 4 uncles, and like 68 cousins who all bleed blue. This doesn't include the multitude of friends that enjoy giving me a call everytime the U loses. So because so many of my peeps went to the WHY, this gives me a chance to cheer for some really random teams. Yesterday, I was all about the Univeristy of Washington, and last week you would have thought I attended Northern Iowa. My mom and dad are going to Provo next week for the UCLA game. GO BRUINS! I am invested this year, can you tell? And I will stay invested until November - because for the first time in a long time I will be back with those I feel at home with, in a stadium that hosted the opening ceremony of the Olympics compared to the Osmond 8th Generation concerts and Stadium of Fire. Yes, it will be good to be back at Rice-Eccles, oh how I have missed you.

hey- what am i? chopped liver?? :)
oh, how stupid of me to forget my ONLY U supporters!! thank heavens for the Young family.
You were at the game yesterday? So were we!
david is relentless in his U obnoxiousness. i could give a rat's about the big rivalry even though i did attend the WHY (lol), but david is set on brainwashing our kids. david & o went to the game last night and owen came home chanting "rebels suck!"... yeah, thanks for the good example, dad...
Hey, I may have attended BYU, but I am NOT a BYU sports fan. Never have been, never will be (besides Rugby). BYU ALWAYS lets me down in the end...
And P.S. who went to the U's basketball camp and endured a week of Rick Majerus (and ALL BOYS besides me and my roommate)? If that's not outright- I am not a BYU sports fan, I don't know what is. That's right, KC & Molly.
from one black sheep to another - GO BYU!
Anne is a trader, I am a proud cougar. I like Cougar Volleyball, Football, Track, Rugby, Soccer, not a true BBall fan of BYU's but wouldn't cheer for the U. You forgot the Young's and the Godfrey's
Yes you did forget the Godfrey's and some of the Calvert's decided to make it to the true school as well.
OH GOOD GIRL! I knew there was some kind of Utah love planted into you! GO UTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
