Today I went to Target to try and find some lamp shades for these new lamps we bought at Urban Outfitters. We had perfectly good bedside table lamps previously, however, Cohen decided to break one and we can't find a replacement anywhere. They were Ikea, and apparently they don't sell them anymore. So, we bought these cute little owls. My problem is that they are kind of weird to find shades for. I've tried tapered round and square ones and neither look right. I'm kind of at a loss. Maybe the wise old owl will have to go back to his home at Urban.
While at Target I found these guys. New, cute pillows for my couch upstairs! I have had the same pillows one there for a while and thought it needed a change. The Global Bazaar section at Target is great - all of it is 50% off right now. There are some great pieces. Two of these silk pillows only cost 18$. Woohoo.

Don't take it back...I love the owl. I just bought a Dwell tablecloth at Target yesterday and can't wait to try it out.
Love the owl lamps. Is it because we are Chi-O's? I don't remember loving them prior to '96. Anyway...Keep them. They are really cute.
I totally forgot about the ChiO/Owl connection until you guys mentioned it. Funny. Now if only I liked carnations.

"I love lamp." Know the movie anyone? Hmmm.. the round or square shade didn't look good? How big were they? I think as long as the width of the shade is double the size of the base, it'll look good. What did Urban sell them with? Keep them, they're cute.
So cute...I hope you find the right shades because those are darling!
