Baby Misc

We found out in February that we are having a girl!! I can't believe I actually produced a female considering my history with boys but we are pretty excited. I think Eric is very excited to have his daddy's little girl. He likes the name Harper - we'll see if it sticks.  Here are some pictures from the ultrasound along with some belly bump and swollen ankle pictures.  Yuck.

Spring Break/Easter 2012

The boys have a week off of school for Easter/Spring Break so we headed down to OC for a nice vacation. This trip took forever to roll around - probably because we hadn't been down since Christmas. It was good to be back in RSM to see friends and have the boys play with all of their buddies. I also had a great baby shower with friends from our old ward thanks to Cortney & Vivian Miyahara!

The boys don't get just any kind of hidden Easter eggs.  Grandma Brown is known for putting coins and dollar bills in her eggs - probably better that way considering Ethan shouldn't be eating Easter candy.  The boys split up all the change once they have found all the eggs.  I think they each got around $20 - now that's a new kind of Easter egg hunt.

Sleeping Coco

This kid is a sleeper. Ethan stopped taking naps when he was 2. Cohen, still at 5 loves taking mid afternoon naps. I wonder who he gets that from?

Office Signs

Eric's office signs were finally approved by the city and installed! Don't they look great? He is very annoyed with the landscaper and is having it redone soon. He also needs to get the signs lit so that they can be seen at night. I love them!

Open House @ School

Open House at Robert Down is one crowded night! There is so much parent involvement at this school it amazes me. The night pretty much turns into an interview process for parents to seek out who they want their kids to have for the next year based on their classroom and speaking with them. Lets just say I'm not that intense. The boys showed off their artwork, the seats they sit at and some of the projects they have been working on around their classroom.  Cohen's favorites: being an Otter, tetherball and jumping off the swings.

Pinewood Derby

This was Ethan's very first Pinewood Derby as a scout. He was involved in the shaping and painting of the car but I must say, Eric put most of the finishing touches on it. He applied all the weights underneath the car (which fell out mid-race = shame). Ethan didn't win fastest car but coolest design/use of color!

Bixby Bridge

Molly & KC were in town for a day or so, so we hit up Point Lobos and the Bixby Bridge in Big Sur. It was a great day out - and there is always stuff to photograph!
